Sponsor: The sponsor of the photo contest (the “Contest”) is NatPets LLC, located at 2207 Central Ave, Boulder, CO 80301 (“Sponsor”).
Agreement to Official Rules. By entering the Contest, you (the “entrant” or “you”) indicate your full and unconditional agreement to (a) these Contest Official Rules (“Official Rules”), and (b) Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding. Winning the Prize (as defined in Section 7 of these Official Rules) is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth in these Official Rules.
Entry Period. The entry period for this Contest begins at 12:01 AM MST on January 1st, 2026, and ends at 11:59 PM MST on March 31st, 2026 (the “Entry Period”). Entries received outside the Entry Period will be ineligible for the Contest. Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Contest. It is each individual’s responsibility to observe time zone differences.
How To Enter; Restrictions. The Contest is open to individuals who submit a photo of their pet and the pet’s name (the “Submission”) via the online submission form, detailed below during the Entry Period. The Submission may be submitted online at contest.iandloveandyou.com
You may not use an agency or any automated system to enter and Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Submissions received through such methods.
You must comply with all applicable laws in connection with your participation in this Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Submission that violates these Official Rules or appears to be fraudulent or inappropriately obtained. Submissions must not include any inhumane, derogatory, sexual or graphic, or otherwise illegal, content. In particular, the Submission must not contain any discriminatory, defamatory or racist content or content that may corrupt the young or that offends good taste and decency. You may revoke your Submission in the Contest at any time by providing written notice to Sponsor. Withdrawal from the Contest will forfeit all of your rights to claim the Prize.
Eligibility. Eligibility to participate in the Contest is limited to individual persons at least eighteen (18) years of age at the beginning of the Entry Period.
Limit one (1) entry per individual. Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email or addresses, accounts, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that participant's entries and that participant may be disqualified. Submissions generated by a script, macro or other automated means are void.
In the event of a dispute as to any entrant, the natural person associated with the name and email address provided on the Submission shall be deemed to be the entrant. The Winner may be required to show proof of identity. All responses to questions presented in the submission form must be true, accurate, and complete to the best of the entrant’s knowledge. Entrants who disregard these Official Rules are not eligible to participate in or win the Contest.
The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States, excluding Alaska and Hawaii. Directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents (and their immediate families and household members) of the Sponsor, its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, or any other company involved with the design, production, execution, or distribution of the Contest are also not eligible. The Sponsor's determination of eligibility, in its sole discretion, shall be final.
The Contest is void where prohibited and shall be restricted by all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations that may apply.
Criteria for Determining the Winner; Selection Of Winners. Sponsor will select one (1) winner from eligible Submissions received within the Entry Period (the “Winner”) based on the following criteria: the quality of the photo and how the photo resonates with the Panelists (the “Criteria”). The Sponsor has designated a minimum of three members of the marketing department as the judges (the “Panelists”) to assess the skill of each participant as demonstrated by their respective Submission. After the Entry Period, the Panelists will carefully review and judge all qualifying Submissions based on the Criteria and will select the Winner to receive the Prize.
The Sponsor will attempt to notify the Winner via text and email by no later than 30 days after the completion of the contest period. Additionally, the Winner will be announced via Instagram and the Contest webpage. The Winner may be required to sign an eligibility statement and release. If the Winner does not meet the eligibility criteria set forth in, or otherwise is not in compliance with, these Official Rules, or does not timely respond to our communication regarding winning, the Sponsor may select an alternative potential winner.
Prize. The Sponsor will award the Winner a prize consisting of a donation of food (up to $400 value) to the pet rescue or shelter of Winner’s choice and a feature of Winner’s photo from the Submission in an upcoming “I and love and you” digital campaign (collectively, “Prize”). Each Prize has an approximate retail value of Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00) USD. Redemption of the Prize may be subject to additional terms, conditions, and restrictions.
Prize Conditions. Prize subject to availability. The winner is solely responsible for paying all federal, state, local, and income taxes and any other costs and expenses not expressly covered by Sponsor in these rules. Any Prize details not specified above will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
The Prize may not be assigned or transferred and must be accepted as awarded. The Winner may not request cash or a substitute prize; however, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value if the Prize is not available for any reason, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion (and such prize will be deemed the Prize for all purposes under these Official Rules). The Prize will be awarded “AS IS” and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose).
General. The Contest and these Official Rules will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Colorado or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Colorado. Entrants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal, state, and local courts located in the State of Colorado. In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Contest is impaired in any way, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Contest to address the impairment and then resume the Contest in a manner that best conforms to these Official Rules; or (b) select a Winner from the eligible Submissions received up to the time of the impairment. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the operation of the Contest, violates these Official Rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any person who seeks to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest. Failure by Sponsor to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Sponsor may change the terms and conditions of these Official Rules at any time if necessary to comply with applicable law, by posting notice of such change on the Contest website. If any provision of these Official Rules is rendered by a court or governmental agency of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such invalidity, illegality or unenforceability shall not affect the remainder of the Rules, which shall remain in full force and effect and be enforced in accordance with their remaining terms.
Online Entries. All entries must be submitted online through the method described above in Section 4. Proof of sending any communication to Sponsor by mail or email shall not be deemed proof of receipt of that communication by Sponsor. Sponsor shall not be responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any online service or website, inability to submit the online form, or any other error or malfunction, or any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Contest, or for late, lost, stolen, illegible or misdirected entries. If this Contest or any website associated therewith (or any portion thereof) becomes corrupted or otherwise does not permit entry in the Contest, or if infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, actions by entrants, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper operation of this Contest, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant implicated in such action, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Contest or any portion thereof.
Privacy; Publicity; Rights to Use Submissions. Any information you submit as part of the Contest will be used for purposes of this Contest and for the Sponsor’s general business purposes in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Statement which can be found here: Privacy Policy. Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Contest constitutes your consent to Sponsor’s use of your name, likeness, Submission, voice, opinions, biographical information, and state of residence for purposes of advertising, promotion, and publicity (including online posting) in any and all media (collectively, the “Publicity Purposes”) now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification, review or permission. You retain the rights to your Submission; however, by entering the Contest, you grant Sponsor a non-exclusive, worldwide, sublicensable, transferrable, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display the Submission for Publicity Purposes. By entering this Contest, You represent and warrant that your Submission is an original work of authorship, solely owned and created by you for the purpose of entering this Contest, and does not (and the use of the Submission by Sponsor will not) infringe, misappropriate or otherwise violate any third party’s proprietary or intellectual property rights. You represent and warrant that you have received the necessary written consent from any third parties as may be required to create and provide the Submission and grant the related rights to Sponsor hereunder, including any use of a third party’s proprietary or intellectual property. You agree that all Submissions shall refrain from mention or reference to a competitor’s brand. If your Submission infringes upon the intellectual property right of another or otherwise violates these Official Rules, you will be disqualified at the sole discretion of Sponsor. You shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, and its and their officers, directors, employees and contractors from and against any suit, proceeding, claims, liability, loss, damage, costs or expense, which such party may incur, suffer, or be required to pay arising out of any third party claim that content of your Submission constitutes misappropriation, infringement or other violation of any proprietary or intellectual proprietary rights of any third party.
Release And Limitation Of Liability. By participating in the Contest, you agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates; and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of the Prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Contest; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone, or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; (e) errors in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property. You further agree that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Contest and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney’s fees. You waive the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
