Making the best pet food in the world is easier said than done. At "I and love and you", we believe in crafting nutritional food options to keep our pets happy and healthy.
Who helps us to decide if they are up to the standards to feed our own pets? Dr. Angie Krause, DVM, CVA, CCRT (that was a lot of acronyms, here is a guide) is our on-staff resource for making sure we don't just focus on empty unsubstantiated marketing claims, and focus on what is good for our pets! She practices veterinary medicine right here in Boulder and will be a regular guest on our blog.
Introducing, Dr. Angie Krause, DVM, CVA, CCRT
Hello! My name is Dr. Angie and I am a holistic veterinarian in Boulder, Colorado. I empower pet parents to become medical advocates for their pets. My practice combines both traditional and alternative therapies to make my patients as happy and healthy as possible.
My journey to become a veterinarian started over 35 years ago when my mother brought home a black kitten. Naturally, I named him Pinky. I knew immediately I was home during Pinky’s first vet visit. In 2007, I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. In many aspects of my patient’s treatment plan, including diet, my approach tends to be more natural.
Serving animals and the people that love them has been an honor. Over the years, my patients have taught me what’s important in life: spending time with people and creatures we love, eating good food, the healing powers of naps, and the necessity of daily play.
