The Best Celebrity Pets to Have a Playdate With

Celebrities, they’re just like us! And by that, we mean they love their pets as much as we love ours. Pets touch all our hearts, even the hearts of the rich and famous. We’ll be honest with you, though, there is probably a one in a million chance that you’ll actually be invited to a pet playdate with a celeb—but as the great Lloyd Christmas said, “So, you’re telling me there’s a chance.” Here are a few celebrity pet couples that make us say #relationshipgoals!

Chris Evans and Dodger

Even if you’ve only looked at Chris Evans’ Twitter for a minute, you would know how The Avengers star found Dodger at a pet rescue, and it was kismet. Dodger loves Evans so much and regularly attacks him with face licks and will even politely ask to play. The two of them are such a dynamic duo that they may as well be the real-life version of Bucky and Captain America. We’re sure you and your pup have a similar bond so making a play date with Chris Evans and Dodger would be the most ambitious crossover event since Infinity War.

D.R.A.M. and Idnit

Featured in the music video for D.R.A.M.’s song “Broccoli” and on the cover of his debut album, Idnit (as in Idnit so cute) is more than just a good looking dog. The Goldendoodle is D.R.A.M.’s best friend and actually joins him when he’s on tour. For D.R.A.M, adopting Idnit was a symbolic moment of making it, since he’s always wanted a dog but never had the means of getting one. “It’s an accomplishment but, even more, it’s emotional, the fact that I have a living, breathing creature that loves me so much,” D.R.A.M said. So, if you and your dog are looking to relax and kick it, D.R.A.M. and Idnit are too.

    Ryan Reynolds and Baxter

Another touching rescue story, Ryan Reynolds found Baxter at a shelter while looking for a dog for a friend. Reynolds said he initially left the shelter after meeting Baxter but then turned around, went back in and said, “let’s get the f*ck out of here!” This boy meets dog story is probably very similar to your own dog adoption story. The Deadpool star regularly runs 5 miles with Baxter at the park near their home, so if you and your dog are into living an active lifestyle, Baxter and Ryan Reynolds would love for you to join them, so strap on your sneakers!

Taylor Swift and Olivia Benson and Meredith Grey

If you don’t know about Taylor Swift’s cats, Olivia Benson and Meredith Grey, then you don’t know the pop star as well as you should. Named after Detective Olivia Benson from Law and Order SVU, Olivia Benson the cat can regularly be found in Taylor Swift’s arms when in public. However, Meredith Grey the cat, named after the titular character of Grey’s Anatomy, can be seen on Instagram or in her personalized cat carrier. Taylor Swift and her cats are the perfect trio to join you as you binge-watch primetime dramas on Netflix.

      Macklemore and Cairo

Did you know Macklemore had a cat? Did you know that cat has a killer Instagram? Macklemore and Cairo are a cat pair made in kitty heaven. His love and adoration of his tabby cat is something you and your furry friend more than likely share. Macklemore even credits Cairo in saving his life and his relationship with his wife. If you and your cat love to go for walks and pose for photos on IG, Macklemore and Cairo would gladly accompany you.

Ian Somerhalder and Mook and Thursday and Sohalia

So you love cats, but do you love cats the way Ian Somerhalder loves cats? Probably. The Vampire Diaries star’s cats are regulars on his social media, and it’s made him a rather famous cat lover. Ian Somerhalder loves cats so much that he has made multiple appearances at CatCon. Along with adopting three cats, Somerhalder started a foundation to help protect animals and has expressed dreams about opening a cat café. To everyone else, you and Ian Somerhalder are CCLs (Crazy Cat Ladies), but we know you two are just lovers of our feline friends which makes for the purr-fect playdate.
